The September weekend is usually one of the first holidays of the term after resumption on a regular academic session.
The September weekend marks the middle of the autumn academic session, and it involves taking a Friday and a Monday off from schooling activities.
Councils set the September weekend dates for schools in their vicinity, and for Hampshire, it’s on Friday, September 23rd, 2022, and Monday, September 26th, 2022.
North Lanarkshire October break (Autumn Holidays)
The October break marks the end of the academic session in October. It’s a week-long holiday that commences from Monday, October 17th, to Friday, October 21st, 2022. However, kids won’t return to their schools until Monday, October 24th, 2022.
